Ernest Borel 1960s Kaleidoscope Cocktail Watch
An excellent condition men's Ernest Borel kaleidoscope cocktail 17-jewel ETA movement wristwatch with front and back crystals. This watch has little use if any and works well. The diameter exclusing the crown is 33mm. This watch is marked on the case by a repairer 6-67-90 and has the calibre number 1311 under the balance
Eminently collectible novelty watch with a good quality movement
Borel used a lot of Felsa movements in the 1960s and later also Valjoux movements The company also used Girard-Perregaux and Aubert movements for their more expensive watches.. In 1946 Borel was the 2nd largest producer of certified chronometers in the world. The cocktail watch is one of the companiy’s signature brands.
